1996 Bentley Turbo R - Door won't unlock

Rear passenger side door will lock but won't unlock with central locking. Does this mean new motor or.....?

If you are up to it, take off the door panel and check the action of the mechanism, may need a slight adjustment

yes, the linkages have a habit of becoming deranged, but there's plenty of adjustment

First of all just trying pulling and pushing up and down several times quite quickly. Do that before you start taking it apart, not guaranteed but it's been known to do the trick.

Remember gents, the locks on the Mk. IV Turbos operate not with solenoids as on the earlier cars. These have a much more smooth, fluid action and I am guessing that the motor is at faulty.
