I only occasionally use my supersports and both remotes are now flat , they don't seem to charge up on a 10 mile run, is there a way of charging them out of the car?

Thx 2.5pi

My key's battery is flat too and drove several hours, still not helping.

Can any one show us how to change the battery?

They have some pic's of how to change the battery in here:- http://forums.motivemag.com/showthread.php?3928371 But I didn't quite get that so couldn't change it...

It looks the same as any other VAG key.

1: remove chrome trim from side of key
2: pull key apart longitudinally, holding the end where the button to release the key is, in one hand and the keyring end in the other . . . . and pull . . . hard!
3: once it is in two halves (as per picture) lever apart the end with the remote buttons on and replace battery
4: it will all click back together

Be careful that you don’t lose the immobilisers RFID chip (looks like a small decongestant / flu capsule

Andew, it's not same as VAG as bentley keys doesn't open in the middle.

Bentley's key is different, it may look same but the construction is different.

if you turn the key over so the buttons face down, you will see the fob has two halves, one half shows the bentley badge and the other half is the panel that covers the battery, to remove this firstly you need to have the key flicked out then have a fairly good pull on the panel from where the key hides when folded away, then (if you have any) run your nail along the other side until it comes apart. Its a good water tight seal so wont come easy but be careful as well. Good Luck and hope this helps.

Battery is a CR2032 Energizer by the way and can be purchased on ebay for 99p! or 852 pounds plus Vat from a Dealer! lol

Also just realised there are a few variants of key design, Mine is from a 2005 model.

Yeah got it, thanks.

Unfortunately the pictures are not visible in the website, or is it just my new macbook which is not showing?

As without pictures it's hard to understand what should be done...

Its like the Audi keys, it splits long ways. I don't think they recharge when used, still a fresh battery should last well over a year.
