Firstly I would like to say hi to all, I have just this week collected my dec 2004 Continental GT and have a couple of queries if you could help at all?
The car has just had a 5000 pound service which included some cleaning out and unblocking of filler cap and plenum area which i see is a common problem but i have the following issues?

1/ On arriving home I could hear a liquid dripping and sizzling on the exhaust up front, it didnt smell like oil, air con was off and the service in Oct included water pump replacement, Is this a leak as i suspect or a drain path? P.S i have not had chance to check fluid levels yet but will be in the next week.

2/ The boot will not open via the wings boot switch on the boot, I have sourced a new switch so will start there, but wondered is this a common fault and most likely to be a switch problem?

3/ The rear spoiler should deploy at 65mph but does not, it can be operated via the onboard switch but has a mind of its own and goes back down after a short while even if still travelling over 65mph, very strange?

4/ Not a huge problem but the radio reception is not fantastic, are they all this poor?

Any help is greatly appreciated and please go easy on the fresh meat!

Gary.

Do you have the tv option, as the radio sounds fine but it might do because of a beefer aerial?

Ps 5k on a service, where did you go, Dick Turpin.

Yes, it has TV. Previous owner just spent 5K at JB for numerous issues inc water pump, unblocking drain holes, fixing rattles etc, Labour charges are the majority of the bill.

Radio seems fine, tv however is a little snowy. They are going to bring out a dvb upgrade which will help
