Can anyone recommend a good insurer for a Continental GT please?

I've searched the forum and can't find anything other than the Adrian Flux sticky.

Thanks for the tip, multicar definitely the way to go. I hadn't even considered it but I have two cars with admiral and they added the bentley for £350. They also did a friend's RS6 today for about £500. Amazing rates compared to the other quotes.

Hey

Ok, how does this multi car bit works?

I paid £1800 for my Bentley's insurance (mind you I'm 26).

I have a Nissan as well, for that I pay around £800 insurance..

So a big chunk goes on the insurance itself...

It is really a matter of how much use you make of the cars, how many drivers etc.Have a look at one of the comparison sites first, although I could not see how to get a multiple quote from them and then try Locktons Admiral or Footman James. For £2050 I cover a Mulliner ContR on an agreed value of £70k, A Maserati Quattroporte, a 1972 BMW 2002 and my wifes 2010 Mercedes A Class. I also have my son and son in law as drivers.

Locktons do our Phantom DHC and Rapide, both agreed value low excess all for £2900 they are helpful, more of a old fashioned broker with proper service, nothing to much trouble

I reached 9 points and got kicked out (was invited to leave with 7 days notice), from Direct Line whom were very competitive.

I shivered when I received first quotes from other and then found Diamond Insurance Brokers in Tring (Diane). Unbelievable, old fashioned personal service and they got me covered (at a lower premium), with Chaucer. This is a company who specialise in Classic and performance cars, including multi-car policies. Ongoing, we have moved most of our policies (cars, business and others), to Diamond, saving money and improving service.

I then had a crow fly through the front grille of the GT and smash through all three front radiators. It was my first claim in over thirty years of motoring and wondered if I should pay the £11K bill rather than claim. Chaucer were fantastic and pretty well said that "st happens", paid up and didn't increase my premium for the following year. I was as surprised and incredulous as, no doubt, you are reading this.

Firms like these deserve recommendation.

Good luck
