Hello chaps. As some of you may have heard me say at Crewe earlier this month, excellent as the Turbo R is,my thoughts have been turning to something a little more up to date, and I am happy to advise that having rececently been orphaned with the passing of my dear Mum, I have done a deal on a 2001 Y plate Red Label. See http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3405518.htm. However, I am a bit obsessive about music in the car, and the head unit looks a bit, well,"proprietary" and obviously lacking ipod connectivity and bluetooth. I am prepared to suffer if needs be, but wonder if any of you know if the head unit can be replaced, with ease or otherwise?
Otherwise the car is tip top, and I can hardly wait to get my grubby paws, and some quality carauba all over it.

Congrats (and condolences) smile

Replacing the head unit shouldn’t be too difficult as it's a standard fitting, I seem to remember them being made for Bentley by Grundig at one point.

Thanks, guys. I am looking at getting the car shortly before Christmas (wonder if it will fit under the tree?).
Tyres are '07 vintage, so that's an improvement.
Finally, Stuart, you are most welcome. Maybe I will make a border raid to your parish in the big beast in the new year. Mrs Batrover was most interested to hear about the quarter horse.
Thanks again.

Batrover - you swine, I had my eyes on that one, but unfortunately haven't had the time to do anything about it.

Never mind, enjoy it!

Sorry, mate. As they say, "whit's for ye'll no' go by ye". With the amount of snow you guys get in your part of the world, you are better having fun in the disco and waiting for spring for the Bentley. Happy hunting.

Yes. Beyond that, I am rendered speechless. Utterly brilliant.
