Questions about bentley gt.
Discussion
Hey guys,
First time in this forum, this place seems quite nice and helpful.
Anyway, bought a 2004 bentley conti gt 3 days ago, and had some questions about it.
First, is it ok for the cars air condition to blow normal air instead of cold air when its been driving in sun for several hours? My ac was not blowing cold air after about an hour in the sun.
Now the dealer did give 6 months warrenty on this, so do you think i should take it back to him to sort it out?
Secondly, the car was serviced 1 month ago by the dealer (they are bentley specialist) and since then the car did about 2/300 miles, but in the car it says service due in 1900 miles, now why is that? Shouldn't it be due in after 9900 miles or something?
Third, when you are in london then obviously you will be in lot of traffic, now when you have to drive and stop a lot do you guys move the gear from D to N and pull the hand break? Or do you guys move from D to P (park) and then to D when traffic is moving again?
Fourth, if you coast this car eg drive up to 60 then move the gear to N and let it coast for a bit and then move the gear to D and carry on, so will it damage the car in long run? Also will coasting save some fuel?
Thanks.
M

Nope, it should be ice cold for as long as you want it ice cold.LH1 said:

The service indicator needs to be re-set, if indeed it has had a proper service.LH1 said:

It's up to you. If you put it into P and use the handbrake, then you're not dazzling those behind with your brake lights, although it does negate the point of stop/start town driving in an auto.LH1 said:

Pointless, and it won't save any fuel, the fuel is cut off as soon as you lift anyway.Gassing Station | Bentley & Rolls Royce | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
