Bentley Brooklands
Discussion
I was at P&A Wood last year to pick a car up for someone. Whilst there they said I could have a good nose round whilst waiting and they had one there, a sort of British Racing Green colour, (sorry don't know the specific name) and I really fell in love with it, its just one of those cars.
what an absolutely stunning example of British craftsmanship and you have great taste in buying this rare colour combination. My favourite ever Arnage is the Final Series they did in a similar but darker black velvet with the aubergine top roll leather and cream seats that they displayed at motor shows but I've never seen a RHD one for sale. This just topped that as my new favourite Bentley. And there are 3? so maybe one day.... as I'm still 40 something I have time to plan;)Enjoy your fabulous car.

hi there.looking to buy one of those. found a 2009 black/linen thats in pretty good shape. Just wondering if this car will trouble me immediately. I currently own a 2006 flying spur and with only 22,000km on it it has pretty much been good to me with regards to upkeep. I did eventually have to change the suspensions (used aftermarket Audi ones and been solid for 2 years now) and I still have issues with AC compressor. But thats pretty much it. I really like the brooklands and its currently in my budget but I do fear the maintenance on this car. How has it treated you?
My Brooklands Coupe now has 9,984 miles. Mostly trouble free. Annual oil change and tuneup. Some small niggles and a failed radio antenna that cost $1,800. Probably $39 on a Toyota....
I am told that the 10 year maintenance is 7-10k. Every bit of fluid is drained. Every bolt tightened. Takes about a week.
Use this test to see if this car is for you: Look and feel the leather. You can not duplicate that in any new car today, including the Mulsanne. Current tanning can not produce the softness. Still smells great! The headliner has full rolls from front to back - either they don't grow cows as big as they used to, or the manufacturers are getting more usable leather by cutting smaller pieces, avoiding defects. If you appreciate the headliner this car is for you. If you never loook up, don't buy the car.
Still love my Coupe!
