407 estate.....GT or executive?

I really want a 407 estate....

Am I going to regret it?! Looking at a diesel (2.0 or 2.2) at upto max £7k ish. For this kind of money I can get a fairly new sub 80k miles car. Should I be looking elsewhere?! I need it to be reliable and comfortable!

I have seen a few executive (06 plate) or GT (57 plate). What is the main difference? They both appear to have leather/Sat Nav and electric/auto everything. Any info gratefully appreciated...
