Peugeot 308 sport Alarm fitting

Hi all,
Just got a 3008s and found that there is no Alarm fitted but is an option on order to the factory.
Could I buy it and fit it ?

Hi,

You will need specialist diagnostic equipment to install a Peugeot alarm, the Body Module will need to be configured and programmed so that it knows it has an alarm.

There are aftermarket alarms which communicate with modern cars using CAN protocol, Cobra Vehicle Security make a CAN alarm which can be pre-programmed to operate with a Peugeot in the same way as a factory alarm system, it will need to be professionally installed.

It would be worth getting a quote from a Peugeot dealer as well as an aftermarket vehicle security specialist.
