Peugot 206 stereo "Error 7"

just purchased 206 and have a "Error 7" displayed on stereo.

Is there a quick fix solution to this or is it a main dealer topic?

Do you have the correct radio code? If you have the correct code, you will need to leave the radio switched on for up to an hour and wait until it allows you to enter the code, most main dealers use a radio repair or decoding specialist like:
