Hi guys,

Can you tell me if some after market springs from a 2004 1.4 Clio will fit my 2003 172 Cup? the nearside front spring has snapped on my car.

nope.
well they may fit but the engine probably weighs twice as much so it will be on the flooor.

good point there, they're Eibach prolines and according to K-Tech's site they are the same part?

Update on this...yes they do, phase 2 cars, anything from 1.4 upwards use the same springs.

The 172 cup springs are different, the other springs will fit, but they won't handle as well.

Sorry for keep asking the same question!

So the Eibach Proline springs won't handle right on the car? what are K-Tech on about then??

Sorry, I didn't read the 1st question very well, I thought you were after genuine springs. The Eibach springs will fit your car smile

I've got a set of Prolines on mine and they are very good!

Yeah the Eibach's are probably the best springs for the car.
