Hi there folks, looking for some help with my new daily barge.

It's a 306 1.9D, 1997 model.

Needs a couple of new balljoints ordered and i'm unsure whether it's 16 or 18mm thread size ones i need? Any ideas?

The rear brakes, standard brake shoes and handbrake cable setup? It's had new cables fitted but they're setup wrong, causing poor braking and a crap handbrake.

Also, how does the XUD run on biodiesel, any good? Understand i need the Bosch pump so will check that out 2moro.

Had one of these years ago, was great on juice and cheap to run all round, the perfect opposite of the weekend car.

Cheers,
Olie

97 was the crossover from phase 1/2 so it could be either. If it has one piece headlights it'll probabily be 18mm. Replace the pinch bolts at the same time as you change them (get from Pug) and don't be tempted to pry open the bit the joint sits in on the hub to help it out.
