Hello, first of all sorry about the spelling its crap and always will be so dont moan about it.

Friend down the way from me had a 1.1 saxo, she brought it as a cheap run around with some nasty 16" alloys on it and massive backbox that makes it sound like a tank, the other day i found a nice set of VTR wheels and picked them up for her as a "gift" We took off her alloys and found a set of spacers on it that ETS fitted because the last set were rubbing.

The old alloys were 195's the ones i picked her up are 185s. I removed the 10MM spacer, but there was another set below the ones fitted at ETS!

Long story short, do i need spacers to fit a set of VTR alloys onto a standard saxo?
Should i remove the second set we found under the set fitted by ETS?

We here a rubbing but no damaged to the tires at all. What could this be?

Thank you!

All advice is welcome!

You should need no spacers at all. A Saxo should be able to hit it's bumpstops on VTR alloys with the 185/60/14 tyres without scrubbage If it's rubbing at the back chances are the rear arm bearings are shagged and it's running excessive camber! Worth checking out. If it's at the front, the st shields have partially fallen off, that'd be my bet.
