Renault 250 cup
Discussion
Just purchased one, test drove it yesterday, and will be picking it up on the 29th. It'll be my first sporty car, 2nd car in total, after my little 1.2 litre corsa, so just wondering if anyone else owns one on here, and if so, what is it like as a daily driver and anything I should be aware of?
One thing I did notice was that changing up on the motorway and getting the revs up, the gear changes weren't very smooth but cruising round town, it was fine. I presume it was my fault due to not being used to such a high powered car and clutch being a bit heavier than I'm used to or is this normally?

I've had a 250 cup for nearly a year now and have loved it! Both the engine and gearbox loosen up quite a bit after a few thousand miles so I wouldn't worry about the gearchange too much - although having said that mine is slightly notchy in the cold.
As an everyday proposition it's superb - I use to to commute 250 miles a week and it cruises on the motorway really well, I find the standard seats very comfortable and I'm 6'7".
You'll love it!
