307 2.0 hdi 110 anti pollution fault
Discussion
does anyone have experience in dealing with the anit pollution fault? im enduring a 12 month nightmare.
after purchasing a 2003 307 2.0 hdi 110 car over a year ago i began to get an intermittent anti pol light, this would come and go without warning and didnt affect the performance of the car.
then the light became almost permanent and would occasionaly put the car into limp mode, further to this i broke down with a cam shaft and crank shaft timing sensor failure (i think my flywheel has had it).
the garage looked at the anti pol light for me, along with many other garages and so far the following work has been carried out - new fap filter and syrum, new vacuum solenoids, new turbo press sensor, egr valve and turbo have been checked, maf meter checked.
took it to peugeot for diagnosis and said it was ecu, so i took it to a local specialist who put in a new ecu only to find it didnt cure the problem, they suspect there is an electrical fault.
further to this the car now runs but with a permanent anti pol light which will either have no affect on performance (apart from suspect flywheel), put the car into limp mode or allow full range of revs but restrict turbo operation to only between 2800-3000rpm.
also if i am in limp mode, it is possible for me to pull over and turn off engine and remove the key, once the car turns itself off after about 30sec the limp mode disappears upon restart but may re-appear during my journey.
help!
