I am in the final throws of ordering bits for my PH2 Clio 172 for use as a daily driver and track car. I have already had some really good advice from people on here and I'm now after some more advice, this time regarding coilovers....and more importantly, which ones?
I want to adjust the height and quite fancy doing rebound but not essential but I don't have a massive budget. (Possibly up to £550 if worth it?)
Brands I've seen are Gaz, V-Max, AP, Weitec and KTR's own brand to mention some.
Any advice and has anybody got any of these kits on their car to give me feedback? I spoke to one guy with Gaz on at a brands Hatch trackday and he seemed to rate them but I'm unsure if I still need camber bolts as a necessity.

What about camber bolts and rear camber shims? Necessary or not? What benefit would I get from these?

Thanks and merry Christmas

Gaz = made in a shed in England. Leak & fall apart
V-Max/KTR - apparently the same, bit soft, ok for road though
AP, Weitec - no real knowledge of either

For me, £600 or so buys some FK Konigsports, which come with fully adjustable koni dampers. I'd buy them, or try and find some 2nd hand H&R/Bilstein/AST/KW V2's - they all pop up on Cliosport.net from time to time.

Are the FK Konigsports adjustable on the car or do the rear struts have to be removed from the car?

What is the difference between the Konigsport and Silverline X kit? Seen the Silverline X kit for not much more than the Konigsport.

The rear konis are adjustable on the car using a dial at the top of the damper that is accessible from the boot.

Silverline X is just the stainless steel version of the Konigsport iirc.
