I need a replacement car for my wife and have two potentials that appeal to her, however having never owned either make or model I'd appreciate others opinions, both are 2002 models, both with full main dealer service historys and both with equal'ish low miles on them, both are autos, the first is a C5 Citroen C5 V6 exclusive SE the other a Renault Laguna 1.8 Privilege Sport Tourer comments and advise on both models would be appreciated.

Thanks

If it has to one of these 2, I would go for the Renault but go for a Dci. Citroen could proove very expensive to run and keep on the road IMO.
Have you considered an MG ZT-T, this would be my choice for the same sort of money / size of car.

the V6 c5 are usually fully loaded so it would make the perfect cruiser and it has the same engine as the Jag.
I am looking for one of those to repalce my Audi A6

I've only ever read horror stories about the DCi on here, when i mentioned looking at a DCi Clio everyone told me to steer clear..

Good shout on the MG ZT though! Worth mentioning that the Diesel is out of a BMW

Laguna electricals are awful too.

Fom the coils to the keyless entry.

Its a shame, as they are a nice drive and I managed to average over 40mpg out of the 1.6 I had.
