Just a little brain picking, on my ZX the track rod end has seemingly welded itself to the track rod/tie rod (I have slackened the retaining nut but you cannot unscrew the end). Can the tie rod be removed from the rack and replaced?
Yes there is,under the gaiter/rubber boot there is what looks like a greyish ball socket,if you put stilsons or grips on this it unscrews and can be replaced.Off the top of my head i think they are about £18.
