Does anyone know where I could get a 206 gti 180 workshop manual from. Haynes don't make one and the dealer I asked said they had no specific literature. I'm hoping he's a liar and there's something somewhere!

As far as I know, there isn't anything available.

I had a 180 for nearly four years and was always looking for one. There was a brilliant forum for the 180 with loads of decent information and clued up owners, but it shut down a year or so ago.

I'm not helping here, am I.....

Lol! any info's good info, thanks dude. How did you get on with the 180, had mine a week now and it's brilliant. I don't understand why there's so much hate for it (scared 182 owners me thinks!)

Haha. I owned mine (Onyx Black smile)from new for nearly four years and loved every minute of it! The only reason I sold it was that it was a real pain (literally) for me to get my newborn baby daughter into the back seat and buckled up.(I'm an old git-bad back)

It's a shame the forum for it closed as it was a great place for info. Pretty much all of the 180's were putting out 180bhp+ as standard and for a bit of info, it's common knowledge that they do 0-60 much quicker than the figure in the book. They also have more Bhp/tonne than CTR's and 182's!

As a day-to-day real world car I always found it just great. Quick, comfortable, reliable, loaded with toys, and best of all relatively uncommon. Friends always commented positively about it when they went out in it.

You're right, a lot of people slag them off, but I'll bet that 80% of them that do have never driven one for any length of time.

I was genuinely sad when I got out of it for the last time.
