Peugeot 205 Cti

Hi guys!

Whats a peugeot 205 cti like to drive? There's loads of information on the net about the gti's but not the cti's. What gives?

It was a lot of fun, when it was working. That said I had it lowered. Before getting it lowered it didnt handle very well, a little pram like. I believe the suspension isnt the same as the GTI's as it was allegedly too hard for the extra weight of the CTI. On a day like today it would have been a lot of fun. However the roof leaked and I had the roof replaced twice because of wear. It was the most unreliable car I have owned. I had my car over 14 years ago now so it wasnt like it was an old car at the time.

They came in 1.9 and 1.6 versions. The 1.9 was more grunty and had good in gear performance, but never felt any faster than the 1.6 if you worked the gearbox in the smaller engined car.

thanks very much! I have purchased one you see and its broken at the moment and havent got it working which is why I was asking if its worth it lol
