Eolys level reset
Discussion
Ok, so I'm guessing nobody knows. I've ordered the Lexia 3 setup so that's going to get me going.
Speaking of this Eolys fluid, is it just my experience or does everyone find dealers completely clueless about this stuff? Nobody will top up and reset they all want to do various levels of work ranging from a "forced regeneration" to a complete replacement of fluid and FAP filter. I don't have the time to hang around for hours while they go to town on the job, and as far as 600+ for the FAP replacement...
All recommended even though no problems whatsoever with the car at 80K other than (I'm guessing) a significantly depleted Eolys tank. Given the car goes 30k pa at 100mph everywhere I'm guessing my FAP doesn't need cleaning out, lol.
How many miles does the Eolys fluid normally last? Dealer assured me it runs out at 50-52k (FAIL!)
Given the dealers uselessness, I'm reckoning with my new computer I should offer an Eolys topup/reset for £20 + fluid and I'd be working flat out every day for £00's
