Hi PH

I'm looking at getting my first french car, a Saxo Vts

I love the look of them in white (very rare though frown ) and have heard the handling is as good as it gets in a fwd hatchback.

My only concern is my insurance company want an additional £300 to insure the 1.6 VTs over my 1.8 Corsa SRi.

Simple question to owners, is it £300's more car?

And where can i find a white one ? laugh

Cheers
Dan

As far as everyday refinement etc goes the Corsa will be better. The Saxo can be fragile although they're more durable than the barstool gang will make out. I've run one daily for 18months and its done me very well. VTS engine is a belter and the handling will embarass your Corsa although it's not the peak of FWD layouts. Not far off though. Basically if you like your cars more track orientated it'll be worth the 300notes. But if rattles get on your tits avoid!
