Hello, Next week I'm looking to lower the suspension on my 2007 Twingo GT. I also have a set of 17" alloys that need a refurb and i was wondering what kind of drop would look/handle the best so that wheels still fit OK and don't rub etc. The tyres on the wheels are quite a low profile btw. Ive seen ktec have some 30mm springs. would they be ideal? Here's a photoshop'd version of what I'm thinking. (the wheels are a gun metal grey at the moment and quite scratched up)
Thanks
Ash

Ive ordered some 40mm spax lowering springs. I was going to take the car to a garage as I dont have the right tools/knowledge to do it myself. How much do you think I should expect to pay for labour. Bush tyres said it would probably be £35 an hour and would take about 3 hours. That seemed a bit steep to me.

£35 is a very low labour rate.

Each front spring, will take about 30mins without rushing, rears will take about 5minutes (5seconds if they let the rear axle hang by the brake hoses - I've seen it done at Rtec!!!)

Thanks for the advice, I have the springs now and hopefully getting them fitted this week, I'll post some pics of what it looks like with the wheels before they have been refurbed.
