I've had the Megane for sale for a couple of months now and I'm getting very little interest (read
"zero").

The price is at the bottom end for the year. The car's in good nick. The pictures are okay (I don't have an eye for photography but you can see all sides!)

What am I doing wrong? Are they just not shifting? Any ideas on additions/alterations to the advert?

I had my Megane R26 for sale on PH for the 4 weeks with nothing other than people offering part exchanges that were just never going to happen.
I then decided to pay up and advertise it on the Autotrader, put it on there for 2 weeks web only and had a fair amount of interest and had the cash in my bank after the first week.

Remember though what cars are advertised for and what they're selling for a two completely different things.

I'm currently trying to buy a 225, it's a 55 plate so a tad older than yours but has covered 4,000 miles less and is 2 grand cheaper. Otherwise it's all similar. It'd be a no brainer for me if both cars were my two options and yours is just too much.

Except that 55 reg is the old shape/suspension set up. I agree that there is a difference in price but I put that down to the difference in models. There is quite a distinction in price.

I've had it on autotrader too, and not a single email or phone call. I guess that means it's more than people want to pay, which is strange given the prices of all the other meganes

Anyone want a cheap megane, open to offers, silly or otherwise! biggrin
