My Mum's pretty cool and thats why she drives a 197 with cup pack.
She's looking at the 200 as a replacement but a couple of questions -

1. Have they eliminated the slight stutter when cold in first gear? As fun as bunny hopping is....

2. For those that have recaro's, do they intrude on the rear leg room behind the driver? (I had a Trophy and god help anyone who wanted legs behind me..and I'm only 5'10!!).

Thanks smile

Too early to tell AFAIK with respect to the kangaroo. But bear in mind the 182s do this so it's been a fault for some time.

The seats are different to the mk2. Does she not have them in the 197? I've never had any complaints from passengers tbh.

She's got the standard RS seats in her 197...but fancies the Recaro's smile

Funnily enough I never had a problem with the cold 'jumpiness' with my 182...

Thank you though smile

I was round at a friends last night trying to help diagnose some bad running on a 182. Got talking to them and they started describing how it kangaroos when cold.

Renaults eh? lol

Mine doesn't kangaroo as such but does have a slight hesitance for maybe the first minute of driving. Had the in-laws in the back of mine(recaros) the other week and they are about 5'11 and they didn't complain(maybe just being polite?).

Mine doesn't suffer from any jumpiness when cold, there is a slight hesitation for the 1st minute or so but by the time I've gotten to the end of the road it's fine, only had it 3months so wont really know until the cold weather kicks in but to present it's fine. The recaro's don't interfere with rear legroom at all, my brother is 6'4" & he fits in the back no problem. My only bugbear with the recaro's is the plastic seat backs as they can get scratched when people are getting in or out.
