Mrs thatone has had a 106 independence for about 3 years, brought as a cat d, never any major issues before.
Exhaust has started blowing and a mate looked under it last night and said that the leak is caused by the cat being damaged at the point where the exhaust leaves it. Looks like the shunt that caused the cat d damaged this at the time and it was never picked up.
We need to replace the cat d and the exhaust on as little a bugjet as possible, can this be done using second hand / scrappy parts?
