Afternoon all,

My little sister's Clio doesn't have its manual with it (or she lost it).

Does anyone have a link to the service schedules? I remember seeing one which showed the miles, which service it was, and what needs doing. I'll be doing it myself as i think it's a minor service, though its 7yrs/44k old and the cambelt hasn't been done, so i think that should get done soon...

From what I've heard around here, the big service - both belts is 5 years / 72k. Although maybe that is just for RS models. Either way, I'm almost certain that our '04 1.2 (which is at 35k) hasn't had one yet.

Cambelt/Aux belt are due 72k miles / 5 years.

Brake Fluid / Coolant - Every 4 years.

Chances are the water pump will be weeping, so should price some coolant up and a waterpump and change that while you're in there too. Often when back street garages fit new cambelts, the water pump bearing fails quicker as the belt is now a higher tention than it was. So within a year, the bearing/seal can fail in the water pump if it's got signs of weepage.

If you're local to Herts, or Bucks...give us a shout.

I'm in NW London, so local to South Herts. I'm seriously looking into getting a 172 sometime in the next few weeks.

Do you run a garage?
