Pretty much as the title - are these as reknown for electrical gremlins as similar aged Lagunas? Anything in particular to look out for?

Basically are they worth taking a look at?

the french make their wiring looms out of spaghetti and sellotape.

afaik Espace's are ok. I work in customer svcs and dont really get many calls from Espace owners.

2005 Grand Espace dCi

Clutch hydraulics - recall
Keyless entry system - condensation
Throttle pedal postion sensor - failed
Battery
Inlet manifold - split somewhere internally
EGR valve - seized
Alternator - failed
Rear brake caliper - seized
Two track rod ends - worn out
Gearbox - severe bearing noise in 3rd & 4th, replacement now inevitable
Oh, and brake discs last no longer than one set of pads

all in five years and 52k miles from brand new. Renault Build a Better Car? I hope so...
