Anyone any opinions on these, really tempted after an 06 one, low miles and decent price. Just i've heard mixed reviews?

I also posted about purchasing a C4..

In the end we went ahead and purchased one It's a great car and so far we're very happy. Nothing has gone wrong or fallen off yet wink

Pop over to the C4 forum www.c4owners.org there is lots of useful info there.

Have decided against, taken two out, both below 30K...Never have I seen such cars that are so tatty. 'Citroen Approved used' blistered paint, loose arch trims, scuffed alloys, scratches, loose switchgear...

If that's what below 30k looks like I dread to think what above is...oh well

Sounds about right.. I had a 172 Clio years back, bought it 9 months old, 7,000 miles and by the time it got to 38,000 I had to get rid of it. The problems were endless, the warranty claims were as regular as my weekly supermarket shop and chopped it in for a VW Passat SE Turbo within only 2yrs of ownership. Typical french build quality, which is a shame as the chassis on this car was sooo good and extremely chuckable bit of kit.

Citroen is derived from the term, Citrus, typically fruit based (and also used in french motor production)
We normally know it as a LEMON! biggrin
