Whistling C2 VTS??

Helping a friend search for a new(ish) car... for the same price we seem to have narrowed it down to either a Suzuki Sport (58 or 09) or a run out pre-reg C2 VTS (10)

She likes both, but we noticed on the test drive the C2's engine note was accompanied by a whistle.. is this normal, could see it getting very distracting if it is....

Good fun cars though, reminded me a lot of the couple of Lupo Gtis I've owned in the past...

Yeah all the C2VTS sound like that,it's to do with the length of the drive belt which also runs the air con you get used to it after a while never really bothered me

the c2 is a cheaply built piece of overpriced rubbish, buy the swift (and i work for citroen!)

I owned one for around 18mths and really loved it tbh, absolute hoot biggrin I had the dredded whistle it's a common problem with the manifold. Straight back into the dealers and fixed under warranty no probs wink
