2.2 diesel in Renault, Citroen and Peugeot is it the same?

Is the 2.2 diesel that Renault use the same engine as can be found in Citroen and Peugeot's?
I have had the miss fortune of the 2.2d laguna and the wife wants a people carrier and has seen a couple of Citroen C8's and Peugeot 8007 with the 2.2d which she likes. But if it's the same engine and has the same problems no way.

No the Renault lump is different. The Peugeot Citroen one is also used in Fords and Jaguars though.

Yes the Peugeot and Citroën engine are bullet proof compared to the Renault lump, I hear so many horror stories regards the Renault 2.2, the psa one has a few little jiggles but nothing compared.
