Clio 200 vs Clio 200 cup
Discussion
Is there an easy way to tell in a regular Renaultsport Clio 200 has been fitted with the cup pack when viewing a second hand car? I’m keen on a 200 cup but also want the adjustable steering wheel and A/C that only comes with the regular 200. I know that you can order the regular 200 with the cup chassis for an extra £400.
All the best.
All the best.

Yes - The brake calipers will be Red. The 200 Cup will have Black plastic bump strips as opposed to colour coded. All the best.

I have a full fat 200 with cup chassis. Get the cup chassis. Dont get the Reccaros, they sit high and are not comfortable. Standard seats look right and hold you in very well.
If you buy a standard cup car, its like driving a bog standard Clio, thin steering wheel, crap interior. On a track day as a non professional driver, how much faster will the lighter car go ? you will never notice the difference. The full fat car is crammed with goodies for 99.9% road use.

I would recommend sitting in the Recaros. I find mine very comfortable, but I suspect they suit shorter and thinner drivers, rather than chubby chaps!Edited by Rs2oo on Monday 21st June 23:25
