Ok, I have been on here with leak problems before...but now I a desperate.

I stripped all the carpets and seats out on DEC 18th (all wet), but because of all the bad weather have not got close to putting my lovely car together agaon. Leaks are the issues.

The car kept filling up with water in a number of places. I replaced the hatch seal, that killed one. I replaced the door seals, that killed two.

The whole of the base of the care was plated and undersealed. The sills are dry.

Now the problems:

1) The water is running down in to both foot wells from behind the panels on each side of the corresponding footwells (worse on drivers side). Only a trickle but the wells fills up. I have checked the drains under the bonnet, they are clear. I sealed the windercreen. The drains in the sunroof don't seem to be the problem as I have poured jugs of water down them without effect.

Any ideas?? Seems odd its the same on both sides.

2) The rear quarter light windows (that open), leak like mad at the bottom (the 90 degree corner). I have replaced these seals, with really good 2nd hand ones. I pumped in sealent before fitting BUT they both leak from the same place.

Any advice?

Really thinking about getting rid of her after 20 years!! This is driving me mad...

Rachel

Buy new rear window seals, they are worth it.

I paid a lot for mine around 4 years ago - €55 each I think.
