Megane Coupe F7R - Advice

Hi all,
I am considering buying a Megane 2.0 16V Coupe (F7R? - Williams engine?) but know nothing about them. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Some things I could do with help with amongst others are the following:
-Potential known faults
-Longevity of the engine and gearbox
-Electrical problems (I am aware it's a typical Renault trait!)
-What suspension/ Brake upgrade would be suitable for track day use whilst maintaining a usable car for the wife for a 10 mile journey to work
-Service schedule and cambelt/ other belt replacement intervals.

Finally, If you know of one that is suitable for sale, please let me know. (With a budget ideally under £1000, I would struggle to justify any more aswell as not having the available funds too.)

Check the belts have been done and it's been serviced regularly.

Also check the carpets are dry. They piss water in leaky sunroofs and fill the back footwells with water!
