Afternoon Everyone
Does anyone know how to de-activate the alarm sensors in a 2002 Renault Megane hatchback? My mum`s just got a dog and is now panicking about popping to the shops with the dog on board and not being able to lock the car!!
Cheers
Dave

OK, Does it have normal key or card ? Assuming standard type Renault / Cobra alarm.
Switch off engine, open drivers door, switch ignition on and off three times in seven seconds, get out, shut door and lock with remote.
If Megane II with card then switch off, open door, card in reader (even if hands free option) do not touch pedals, press start switch 5 times in 7 seconds. Card out, shut door and lock.
Either type will need to do this each time you want to leave Pooch in car, reverts to normal when next used. You can disconnect ultrasonic sensors if you want, perimeter senors remain active.
