As above, but if it's a 1.9 some steelies won't clear the brakes.

Depds what steelies, most modern model ones, (306,Xsara etc) 14/15"s will.

Would say you could have my old Pug steelies (need two tyres) but I live over in Stoke so would probably be a lot cheaper just to go scrappy or find some on Ebay!

Ford wheel's centre bore is too small, and it really depends on the offset, you can only try i guess, but i reckon they'll only be any good to sit/roll it around on, rather than drive on.

Correct, I had some RS rims on mine (206) and it wobbled like jelly as the wheels did not bolt on correctly due to the hib not being the right size. had to take them straight back off again so that I didn't wreck the bearings etc.

They would fit if modified...

Where are you? I have 4 x 1.9 wheels that need a new home. Can deliver around the Southampton/Winchester/Andover area if you need.
PM me if you want more info.

ETA: I do you good price.

The ford wheels did sort of fit, but no good for the road, off to the scrappy this morning to
get 3 cheapy wheels, spare will do for one, until i get some decent alloys
