My turbo bearings have gone in my megane 225 so I need to send it off for repair..... My question is, can you get the turbo out with the engine still fitted?

Don't mean to sound like a twit, but do you not have a manual for it? I presume if you are hoping to take it out yourself then you do. And if it is possible to remove without being n engine out job it will say so.

I seriously doubt it will tell you how to do that in the owners manual. Workshop manual yes.

I dont have the workshop manual, but im an aircraft engineer in the RAF so if it can be taken out, I will be able to do it, turbo's are easy to change, its just the access im concerned about, and I dont want to get half way through and decide it can't be done!

Well if you're based at Leeming and need a hand, give me a shout. I have a Trophy and am RAF as well.

the official line is engine out. but you can do it without but its a bit of a pain to do you will still have to remove most things at the front for clearance at the back.
