Going to track the wifes Clio Cup this year , probably at Palmers first.
Question - which insurer would add track day cover to the regular insurance for a reasonable amount ?

My car's insured with Greenlight and I get track day insurance for £50 a day with my policy.

HIC always used to include it in their standard cover so might be worth ago.

I expect any insurer will set the excess quite high for any accident whilst on track

None IME when I looked into this for my old Clio Cup. Depends what you term a reasonable amount of course! Best I was offered was £150 per day on a one off basis rather than having it lumped in with the annual cover. Was'nt worth it IMO - but then I was tracking a £4k 172 Cup rather than a £15k 197 Cup wink

I've now got 5 days lumped in on the insurance for my Lotus Elise! Which am I more likely to crash? Go figure smile
