The bushes on my ph2 172 are beginning to look and feel a bit ratty and i was wondering whether to replace them with OE parts or get a full set of poly-bushes on.

Does anyone have any opinions on this, and whether it is a worthwhile thing to do? I use it as my daily driver so is it really going to screw up the ride for a pay off of better steering feel on the few occasions i get to really drive it?

Has anyone had them fitted? Any thoughts very welcome... Cheers

for a mainly daily drive, id stick to oe. that in itself will probably improve steering / handling from what it is now, the poly bushes are apparently a bit over kill for everyday use.

ive only got a poly bush on my dogbone mount on the gearbox, and that gives a fair amount of noise and vibration into the cabin.

Cheers for the input.

The bushes on there at the moment aren't terrible, but look to have started perishing. So new ones would no doubt feel much better than it does now anyway.

Do poly-bushes make the ride much harsher? I know they're raved about (especially on TVR forum!) but is it particularly benifical on more normal (even if sporty) cars?
