Clio wont start

Hi all and happy new year.Got into the car this morning to start it up.it turns over but wont fire,and a lot of clicking and buzzing from the dash.please help

Could be just a dead battery?

I had mine sat on the drive whilst I was waiting to take it to the garage, tried to start it but nothing happened. Sounds quite similar to yours.

I got it to the garage and the mechanic said it was just a flat battery.

just happened on my french car too. rubbish!

Batteries do often fail in winter, most places like halfrauds and slowfit do free battery checks

Found the problem to be some kind of fan near to the interior light,blew away the dust in the fan turned the key and hey presto.must be linked to the immobilizer as the car turned over but didnt fire.
