Hi All

What a nightmare of a fopping day did the drivers side suspension and brake change and then after tightening the top nut dropped the socket and it went in the section under the upper engine mount here

the socket is now stuck in that area i can push it out with a coat hanger to the pullys but cant pull it to the front of the engie or the rear as its it too tight

any ideas how i can get this out as i cant start the car just in case the socket drops out on to the pullys and does some serious damage

any one with any ideas?

Cheers

Ben

Hah unlucky.

It happens to the best of us though, don't feel too bad. Halfords (or machine mart/whatever) sell a magnetic tool extractor which is basically a very powerful magnet on the end of a flexible wire. These generally do the trick, it's not much fun though!
