metal in the fuel filter housing 206d
Discussion
Car seem to have lost alot of power (not that iit has much to loose), i decided to change the fuel filter as it just feels like its being held back. When i took the old filter out i noticed tiny metal flakes in the bottom of the housing. The filter i had was wrong so i had to put the old one back in.
Is this a sign that the pumps about to die or is alittle normal?

I've never noticed that when I've changed a fuel filter but the 205 one is a hefty metal thing which you can't see inside.
I would expect that you'd have a plastic fuel tank and non-metal fuel lines so I guess it's a sign of the filter going.
For the cost of the thing replace it and see how it goes. I find people rarely bother to replace fuel filters no matter what the age of the car.
