Crikey.
That sounds like the 1.9 non turbo diesel which I do believe is a good solid long lasting engine from the old 405 days. Been around for ages by the time the 206 came along so I would imagine it's at it's most developed and best. Being without a turbo means there's not much to go wrong and not much engine stress, so personally I would buy it and call it a project to see what happens! I enjoy a good n/a diesel too, much more fun than a t/d.
But bear in mind those 211,000 miles are on the rest of the chassis/suspension and all the other bits like wiper motors and heater fans will be well used, so I would buy based on the condition of those parts rather than the engine which will possibly outlast the rest of the car.
