Hi guys, as title suggests my xantia 2.0 hdi has just lost all power and wont rev over 2000rpm ?
Its an x reg, excellent condition for 165k miles, just had a new complete exhaust and serviced within the last 2 wks. Engine management light on but wont rev over 2000rpm and is nigh on impossible to drive now.
Thanks in advance.

Might be the electrics. Some vehicles have a limp home engine management system. If an error is detected then they switch to limp home mode. Check all the connectors. I've had something similar to this due to moisture in a connector before and on another vehicle due to a sensor cable becoming detached.

Worth trying out particularly as it costs nothing
