Hey,

Is the 2.0 16v lump from the clio sport range the same one in the megane 2.0 16v? Cant seem to find the answer from google.

I think it's the same.

God knows what they do to extract 180 horses out of it though?

Mine's 136bhp, so finding 44 will be a pain. Cams, mapping etc.

Bit of googling suggests it is the same engine.

Do you have any plans for yours?

With the Clio it has vvt don't know if meg has that also compression ratios are prob different Along with a whole host of other things prob

Megane is VVT.

Like you say though, given the move from 136bhp to 180bhp, there are probably quite a few changes.

Which megane 2.0 16v?

The megane coupe (old shape) had an F7R engine very similar to that in the clio williams, same block just a different cylinder head
The Renaultsport Meganes have the same F4R engine found in the clio's the difference being they're turbo charged

The new F4r in the 200 has a different head as well as exhaust, on the clio 197 cup cars they fit the airbox from the v6 clio to get more power
