Peugeot 107 engine help!
Discussion
Don't really know because there aren't many high mileage examples out there however the engine is actually designed by Daihatsu (half owned by Toyota) so it should be as reliable as a Toyota engine. But what do I know :P
Should probably add the engines been in the Yaris since 2005 so you could probably ask around on yaris forums aswell as the 107/aygo/C1 forums

The engine in the 107 is a good engine just make sure you change the oil as per intervals, don't be put off if the exhaust on the car your going to see sounds a bit fruity they are all like that, also its the same engine as in the Yaris but with one cylinder less should do 100k easy if looked after hth

Do 1 litre cars sound fruity ?
Same engine but one cylinder less ? So same but different ?
Another bump here.....ours 2007 1.0 is on around 95k miles now. Far less than the above numbers but it's still going. Drinks a bit of oil now and has various issues that could do with fixing but has never let us down yet.....(fingers crossed).
Well and truly part of the family now. Have thought about replacing it with something newer and 'better' but we don't really want to part with it!
