It won't be high because as you're not moving the engine isn't working so in turn isn't increasing the pressure.
Go and drive it, only worry if the warning light comes on.

Check the oil pressure switch connection isnt corroded or dirty as this can give a low reading

"Conveniently" located under the intake manifold - tis a bugger to get to.

I had so many problems with the OEM gague/wiring/sender I swapped it all for a Stack Oil Pressure gague which sorted it out.

Did they change the oil? Check the sender.

To be honest that sounds ok, mine the other day stuck on the motorway for 1 hour was hovering on the last mark before red light, the oil temp was on bar 2 and the water was high with the fan rectifying that every 3 minutes or so.
The gauge is pretty relative (not accurate) really, and they differ from car to car. A friends old 309GTI oil pressure gauge hardly ever moved but all was fine.
As long as the red light doesn't come on you should be fine.

on all 3 of my 205 the oil pressure and temp guage levels have been completely different - it's just a quirk of the car
