Renaults at the 'ring

I have just got back from a weekend at the ring and was amazed at how many R26 and .R Meganes I saw out there. Its to be expected I suppose as its thier natural environment, but it was still am impressive turnout. Unfortunatly I was not there in mine, bit these more than made up for it.

I have posted some photos below of them, I have ditorted the reg no's on the UK cars.























And a Clio for good measure!!

I went with a mate this time in his M5 so next time I will take mine.

I have another one of the white one on the track, so tell him to email me and I will send it to him.

I wasnt aware they came in red or is that just for the french market?? anyone know.

The racing blue one is mine! Good pics mate you should of come over & said hi I was taking passengers out foc all weekend. Best time was on the Saturday morning of 8.08 bridge to gantry. Much faster than I ever managed in my csl or exige
2nd weekend I've had the car at the ring & it was sensational.we'll be back out there in September & October
btw the yellow one with the radioactive decals is a standard r26 with the rear seats removed, the driver is Australian who lives quite local & very fast!
Awesome weekend due to most of the people watching the dtm's on the south loop,loads of space on track & not too many closures.one bad one on Saturday & Sunday I think.overall a good weekend at the ring!

I have managed to locate both yourself and the owner of the white uk one on Meganesport.net. We had a quality weekend. Theweather was amazing and the atmosphere very good. I was trying to get some on track photos of the UK cars as I guessed you would be one here. As for the LY R26 he was awesome. We saw him do a several laps and he was very quick like you say. He was wearing a little tuff top pedal cycle helmet which I found very amusing.

Shame, I should have come over and spoken!

Glad you had a good time with no 'incidents'. The black and red corvettes were not so lucky. They were chasing eachother round for a few laps and I saw the red one being towed off with the whole front stoved in. Not ideal!
