That's it. In my 182, you have to turn the wipers to position 1 every time you start the car. If left in pos 1 then they won't work.GingerRob said:

Yeah, the dude I recently bought it frm said the windscreen was recent. I want to just disable the sensor somehow. I think I can manage to see when its raining & switch on my wipers myselfdougk said:

Ignition on,
Flick dipped beams on, off, on then off,
Or,
Ignition on,
Flick dipped beams on, then off.

Don't have the hand book. It is the auto wipers i need off & not the auto lights. The procedure described sounds like it might be for lights.
