I need 4 new tyres and was considering these tyres, wondered if anyone has had them fitted to their car/what their experience of them was? I have Michelin Exaltos at the moment.

On the clio I've used Mich pe2, F1 GSD3, P Zero, T1R, Toyo PX4, Hankook V12.
Without doubt the Hankooks are the best bet. Available for £50 per corner (205/45 R16), dry weather performance is better than all the above. Wet weather they are 2nd only to the Goodyears.
T1R's are good in the dry, woeful in the wet, and they wear extremely quickly.

Note the T1R coming last of 16 tyres tested.

I have F1 GSD's on my 182. Noticed a reduction in tyre noise on the motorway and at least as good, maybe slightly better in all other conditions with a slightly more compliant ride.

In the end because of some time pressure to get the tyres before the MOT ran out, I went for Mich PE2's. It's hard to tell what they are like as they still do not have many miles on them but anecdotally they seem very similar to the previous Mich's I had even though they were a different type. I would have gone for the Hankook's but I couldn't find a supplier after an hour or so of phoning round.

I run PE2s' Steve. Have done for virtually the whole time I've had the car (just over 3yrs). Quite happy with them so havn't changed. Interested to hear your opinion.

I think they should have stiffer side walls than the Exaltos'.

Even more praise for the hankook tyre's here. The only other alternative which I like ( and believe me I've tried a lot ) are the Michelin Pilot Sports.

TBF the fact that you run them John was a big factor in me getting them. I'll let you know what I think once they are worn in smile
